WWE Hall Of Famer Jeff Jarrett has wrapped things with WWE.PWInsider reported that Jarrett quit from his role as Senior Vice President of Live Events. The belief is that he finished up this past Friday but that is not 100 percent confirmed.

Jarrett was hired in to serve as a Producer in 2019 and later as part of the creative team before moving up to an executive post. Jarrett was one of many employees furloughed during the pandemic and was brought back in May of this year to run the live events department. Under Jarrett, live event ticket sales rose.

Earlier this week the business hailed record ticket sales for WrestleMania 39. Non-televised events have also experienced an upswing in recent months. Jarrett also hosts the “My World” podcast with Conrad Thompson on and he is part owner of The Springfield Lucky Horseshoes Minor League Baseball team.

Last month, Jarrett appeared in Ric Flair’s Last Match alongside tag team partner Jay Lethal against Flair and Andrade El Idolo. The night prior, he was the special referee at SummerSlam for the Tag Team Title match between The Usos and The Street Profits. Jarrett has not publicly commented on his exit from WWE.

Beginning his career under his father Jerry Jarrett’s Continental Wrestling Association (CWA) in 1986, Jarrett first came to fame upon debuting with a country music star persona in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE) in 1992. Over the next nine years, he alternated between the WWF and its primary adversary, World Championship Wrestling (WCW) (WCW).

After WCW was purchased by the WWF in 2001, Jarrett joined the fledgling World Wrestling All-Stars (WWA) promotion. After a disastrous merger of TNA and GFW, he terminated connections with TNA. Jarrett subsequently wrestled in Mexico for Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide before returning to WWE in January 2019 as an on-screen talent and producer.

A third-generation wrestler, Jarrett has had over 80 championship reigns throughout his career, among them the NWA World Heavyweight Championship (six times), WCW World Heavyweight Championship (four times), WWA World Heavyweight Championship (twice), USWA Unified World Heavyweight Championship (three times), and AAA Mega Championship (twice) (twice).

He was inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame in 2015 and the WWE Hall of Fame in 2018.

In 1993, Jarrett had a small cameo role in the Michael J. Fox movie Life With Mikey, appearing alongside Jerry Lawler as a wrestler named “Evil Eye”. In 2005, Jarrett had a guest appearance on the comedy show Blue Collar TV. TNA stated that on April 14, 2009 the first-ever Jarrett DVD release will be a four-disc package, encompassing his best TNA matches and moments, a comprehensive and candid interview about his life, career, and TNA Wrestling, rare images, and guest commentary, among others.
