Both the doctor and the mother have been remanded in custody until February 16, when they will appear in Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court.
Dr. Austin was arrested on Wednesday and is scheduled to appear in Albany Magistrates Court on Thursday where Child abuse squad detectives detained the mother last Monday, and she was denied bail when she was charged with attempted murder.
After appearing in Perth Magistrates Court the next day, on February 16, they were remanded in custody until Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court on February 16.
