In a statement, the congressman from North Carolina announced that his wife passed away in Chapel Hill after battling illness “over the weeks.” Although a Price spokesman stated that his wife had been battling cancer, no cause of death was disclosed.
“My life companion, a supporter of everything I tried, political and otherwise,” the congressman said of his wife.
