Ike Ekweremadu who is a former deputy senate president of Nigeria, and his spouse Nwanneka Ekweremadu, have been accused of conspiring to bring one child to London for organ harvesting.

After an inquiry by the Metropolitan Police Specialist team, 60-year-old Ekweremadu and his 55-year-old wife has taken into custody.

As per BBC, Beatrice Nwanneka and her beloved husband; Ike Ekweremandu was arrested by UK police on the allegation of human trafficking and organ harvesting. 

And from Met Police reports; the accused have been remanded in custody and will be appearing in Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court later today. Moreover, after detectives were made aware of violations of the modern slavery legislation in May 2022, they have already begun their investigation.

As per the Metropolitan Police, they have taken children, and are now under the observation of the government.  Police has not revealed the gender of the child whose organs the accused wants to take. They also stated that the criminal proceedings are going on and will not be providing any sort of information for the time.
