23 years old, Keffer J. White, was arrested for murdering Donald Pierce

Prior to Pierce’s death, Examiners charged Keffer J. White with two counts of attempted murder and two counts of first- and second-degree assault. On July 6, according to court documents, White contended that he was not guilty of all allegations.

Keffer assaulted 82-year-old Donald Pierce on June 25 near Portland State University.

When officers from Portland discovered the Assault, they captured 23-year-old Keffer White and responded to an unrelated protest in the town. According to investigators, White repeatedly attacked and kicked the two victims after knocking them down.

Donald Pierce and Edward Lichenstein were attacked while waiting for a bus near SW 5th and Hall, according to Multnomah County District Attorney Mike Schmidt.

Additional charges are expected, and Liechtenstein, another victim, was treated and discharged from the emergency room. White’s subsequent court appearance is scheduled for July 15, according to court records.

According to court paperwork that KOIN 6 News was able to obtain, the offender was intoxicated at the time. He had a protection order against him as of the time of his arrest for the stolen automobile, and he had previously been found guilty of assaulting a police officer.

Keffer White, the alleged attacker who is accused of assaulting the two elderly men, is currently being held in custody and facing four charges, including two counts of attempted first-degree murder and one incident of first-degree assault that depends on second-degree assault.
