She was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow where she remains in serious condition.
Officers also rushed to a property in Dornie, Wester Ross, after horrified locals heard gunshots ringing out. A man was taken to the hospital where he remains in critical condition along with a woman who has since been released from the hospital. They have been identified locally as a 63-year-old osteopath John Mackenzie and his mental health worker wife Fay, also aged 63. Kate Forbes MSP said the rampage was the “worst day that I can ever recall in the history of Skye and Lochalsh”.
