American Swimmer Jamie Cail Dies at 42, Leaving Behind Her Loving Parents

Jamie Cail, a former star swimmer, at the age of 42. She was found dead in her apartment in St. John, leaving behind her loving parents and boyfriend.

According to a statement made by Jamie Cail’s family to ABC affiliate station WMUR in Manchester, Jamie Cail was originally from Claremont, New Hampshire, and had a passion for swimming since her youth. She excelled in the sport and was considered a star swimmer.

In addition, she was a member of the University of Maine’s women’s swim team during the 2000-2001 academic year, as per the school’s alumni association.

The St. John police department reported a recent incident on February 21, 2023, where a woman identified as Jamie Cail from New Hampshire was found dead at the Myrah Keating-Smith Clinic. The incident was reported to the authorities at approximately 2:39 a.m. and is presently under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Bureau.

She was in a committed relationship with her boyfriend, with whom she shared an apartment in St. John. Tragically, it was her boyfriend who found her on the floor of their apartment and rushed her to the nearby clinic where she was later discovered dead.

As per the police report, on February 21, 2023, at approximately 12:08 a.m., Jamie Cail’s boyfriend left a local bar to check on her at their residence. Upon his arrival, he found Jamie lying on the floor, and with the help of a friend, he was able to transport her to the Myrah Keating-Smith Clinic. Despite CPR being rendered and 911 being notified, Jamie Cail passed away at the clinic.

The police department has urged anyone with any information regarding the case to contact them or Crime Stoppers V.I. on 1 (800) 222-TIPS. The case is being investigated by Detective J. Carty at (340) 693-8880, ext. 5207, and Detective S. Rhymer at (340) 774-2211 ext. 5572.

Police made no more statements regarding Cail’s passing but requested anyone with knowledge to get in touch with the Criminal Investigation Bureau.

Jamie Cail’s career as a Successful Swimmer

Jamie Cail was a talented swimmer from Claremont who excelled in the sport throughout her adolescence. She achieved great success in swimming, including winning a gold medal in a relay team at the 1997 Pan Pacific Championships, as reported by SwimSwam.com.
