Christina Robinson has been charged with murder and child neglect in connection with the death of Dwelaniyah Robinson, who was discovered at a house in Ushaw Moor.
The mother of a three-year-old boy who was taken to the hospital after a “medical incident” has been accused of killing him.
On November 5, emergency personnel was called to Ushaw Moor in the vicinity of Durham. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Dwelaniyah Robinson couldn’t be saved and passed away shortly after. Murder and child negligence is now the charges against Christina Robinson.
The 28-year-old showed up in court today in Newton Aycliffe. She spoke only to confirm her name, date of birth, and address during the brief hearing while wearing a denim jacket and a blue top. Robinson was kept in jail until his next court appearance on Thursday at Newcastle Crown Court.
Durham Police said,
“Emergency services were called to a house in Bracken Court, in Ushaw Moor, Durham on the afternoon of Saturday, November 5. ” Dwelaniyah was taken by ambulance to the University Hospital of North Durham but was sadly pronounced dead shortly after arrival. “A police presence will continue at the scene today while inquiries are completed.”

Dwelaniyah Robinson was 3 years old at the time of his passing. He holds British nationality. Christina Robinson, the mother of Dwelaniyah Robinson, is now facing charges of murder.
