The altercation occurred on June 9, 2014, inside the nightclub located on Roswell Road.
According to eyewitness accounts, Erica Pinkett threw a cup at Stephanie Harp while acting as her own attorney during an altercation. In retaliation, Harp allegedly cut Pinkett with a razor blade.

The police investigation found that two people were involved in the assault on Pinkett. While Stephanie Harp was identified as the first attacker who slashed her with a knife, the second attacker assaulted her.
