President Joe Biden has revealed that the US murdered Ayman al-Zawahiri, the leader of al-Qaeda, in an Afghani drone operation.

He was slain on Sunday during a CIA counterterrorism operation in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan.

He was one of America’s “most sought terrorists” and they collaborated in the 9/11 attacks.

Zawahiri “created a path of murder and brutality against American civilians,” according to Mr. Biden.

“Since the United States delivered justice to bin Laden 11 years ago, Zawahiri has been a leader of al Qaeda,” Mr. Biden said. “From hiding, he co-ordinated al Qaeda’s branches and all around the world, including setting priorities for providing operational guidance and calling for and inspired attacks against US targets.”

“Now justice has been delivered and this terrorist leader is no more,” he added.

Al-Qaeda was led by Zawahiri after the death of Bin Laden in 2011.

The drone reportedly fired two missiles at Zawahiri as he was on the balcony of a safe home, according to officials.

Other members of the family were present, but they were unharmed, and they added that only Zawahiri was slain in the incident.

Ayman Al-Zawahiri Wife, Was he married? Any children?

At least four marriages were consummated by Ayman al-Zawahiri. His wives are Umaima Hassan and Azza Ahmed Nowari. Al-Zawahiri wed Azza Ahmed Nowari, a philosophy student at Cairo University, in 1978. She was his first wife. They had a very traditional wedding at the Continental Hotel in Opera Square, complete with separate rooms for men and women, no music, pictures, or other forms of fun.

Azza seemed unaware that al-Zawahiri had allegedly been a jihadi emir (commander) for the previous ten years until many years later, when the United States attacked Afghanistan in the wake of the September 11 attacks in October 2001. One of Zawahiri’s four wives, Umaima Hassan, posted a message on the internet in June 2012 praising the part Muslim women had played in the Arab Spring.

Al-Zawahiri and his wife Azza had four daughters named Fatima (born in 1981), Umayma (born in 1983), Nabila (born in 1986), and Khadiga (born in 1987), as well as a son named Mohammed (also born in 1987; Khadiga’s twin), who was described as a “delicate, well-mannered boy” who was “the pet of his older sisters,” who was subject to bullying in a setting that was predominately male, and ten years after Mohammed was born, in 1997, Azza gave birth to their fifth child, Aisha, who was born with Down syndrome.

One of his Wife

After being waterboarded in February 2004, Abu Zubaydah said that Abu Turab Al-Urduni had wed one of al-daughters. Zawahiri’s One of Al-three Zawahiri’s surviving wives gave birth to a daughter named Nawwar in the first half of 2005.

After the September 11 attacks on the United States, Ayman al-first Zawahiri’s wife Azza and two of their six children, Mohammad and Aisha, were killed in an airstrike on Afghanistan by US forces in late December 2001. Azza was trapped beneath the rubble of a guesthouse roof following an American aerial strike of a Taliban-controlled structure at Gardez.

She “refused to be excavated” out of concern for her modesty since “men would see her face,” and the next day she passed away from her wounds. Mohammad, her son, was also brutally murdered there. While Afghan rescuers attempted to resuscitate Azza, her four-year-old Down syndrome daughter Aisha, who had not been injured by the bombing, perished from exposure in the chilly night.
