Career of Yair Rodríguez

At Mexican Fighter Promotions 8 in 2011, on October 10, Yair made his professional mixed martial arts debut. In his first fight, he defeated Jonatan Guzmán and won.

At age five, Rodriguez began learning Taekwondo and pursuing his goal of being a professional fighter. Since 2011, he has been engaged in professional combat.

On November 15, 2014, at UFC 180, Yair made his UFC debut against Leonardo Morales, winning unanimously. He competed in the Latin American division of The Ultimate Fighter.
