In Magaluf, a British dad, Tobias White Sansom was “beaten up by bouncers” and died

A British father has died after allegedly being brutally beaten up and knelt down by bouncers and police while on holiday in Spain. Tobias White Sansom, 35, passed away in hospital five days after the disturbing incident at the notorious Magaluf strip last Tuesday.

What Happened to Tobias White Sansom

Tobias White Sansom had been partying with his girlfriend in the VIP area of a club known as Boomerang before finding himself “pleading for his life”. The final moments of the father-of-two, from Nottingham, have now been disclosed by his millionaire brother, Maximillian White.  

The devastated sibling, who made his fortune as a medicinal cannabis tycoon, said Tobias had headed back inside the club to the VIP area to take back his t-shirt.  But the holidaymaker was told his belongings had been put away, seeing him head to the bar with his girlfriend to grab another drink.

It was then that security allegedly “grabbed him from behind”, according to witnesses who have spoken to Maximillian.  The businessman, who lives in Dubai but owns a holiday home in Majorca, told the Mirror that his brother began to resist because “he didn’t know who it was.”  

He claims three or four bouncers began to hit Tobias, handcuffed him, and subjected him to a horrific beating that lasted for around 12 minutes.  Police then arrived at the busy club, after up to 60 revelers had reportedly begged the security to stop the attack, screaming “You’re going to kill him!”

Tobias’ family is now battling to have his body flown home for further examination.  Maximillian described his death as a “pain that will never go away” – seeing him promise to “buy the Magaluf strip” and “close it down permanently”.  He branded the party hotspot as “dangerous” and suggested it was “not controlled”.  “Well-loved” dad Tobias leaves behind his two young daughters, four-year-old Maisie, and 11-month-old Poppy.
