62, Tanveer Jamal, Pakistani Actor/Producer, passes away in Japan

The Pakistani actor and producer Tanveer Jamal passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2022. He has performed many prominent roles in many big films and TV series.

Jamal has been a leading figure in acting in the Pakistan entertainment industry for more than 35 years. His most noticeable work is in the mega-drama ‘Godfather’.

Tanveer Jamal was diagnosed with the dreadful lung cancer in the year of  2016 and battled the disease for several months before falling to it. 

Jamal’s most recent role was in the drama Mere Apne, a critical and declared commercial hit. While shooting for this drama 2021, he was diagnosed with cancer for the second time. He is survived by his Japanese wife and three kids.
