Attorney Steven Kunzweiler was stabbed by his own Daughter

Oklahoma’s Tulsa County district attorney, Steven Kunzweiler was stabbed in his own house by his daughter, who was later detained in connection with the crime.

Police said that an elected official’s daughter was detained after she is accused of repeatedly stabbing her father at their home.

Police detained Jennifer Kunzweiler, the daughter of Tulsa County District Attorney Steve Kunzweiler after the leading prosecutor was taken to the hospital on Tuesday. According to Tulsa police, Jennifer was detained while investigators continued to gather information about the horrific crime. 

Steve Kunzweiler made the following admission in a statement to The U.S. Sun: “Unfortunately today, I found myself in a scenario that I thought would never happen. Fortunately, the extent of my wounds allowed me to return home. Thank you to everyone who sent well wishes to my family and me. After his daughter allegedly hit him many times at approximately 3 o’clock, the district attorney apparently contacted the police himself.

A later announcement revealed that he had been discharged from the hospital. News On 6 said that Jennifer reportedly stabbed herself during the terrifying event, and the police claimed that she was also harmed in the incident. According to KTUL, Jennifer is also anticipated to make a full recovery from her wounds.

A Violent Incident

Police swarmed a home neighborhood in the video from 2 News after getting a complaint about a violent incident. “I am very thankful for the reaction from the Tulsa Fire Department, EMSA, the Tulsa Police Department, and the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office,” Steve remarked following the attack. I am also very appreciative of the Saint Francis Hospital personnel and physicians for their professionalism and compassion in caring for my injuries.

The first statement from his office read: “The whole Kunzweiler family would appreciate your thoughts and concerns as they go through this hardship. ” “All relevant police agencies are aware of the issue and are now carrying out their investigations,” reads a statement from the police. Kunzweiler won the 2015 DA election.
