Semedo spent the 2013–14 Segunda Liga season with the B squad, making his first appearance on August 25, 2013, when he played the entire 90 minutes in a 1–0 home win over Trofense. He was loaned to Spanish club Reus on August 26, 2014, alongside colleague Vtor.
Semedo was promoted to Sporting’s senior team for the 2015–16 season.
