The area of US Highway 41 and Buckley Road was where North Chicago police noticed Crimo, who was thought to be operating a 2010 silver Honda Fit.
According to a newspaper story citing Jogmen, the police attempted to stop Crimo, but he momentarily eluded capture before being apprehended. Newspaper reports that Crimo has allegedly lived in the Highland Park neighborhood for a considerable amount of time. His online activities showed a YouTube channel he had created under a different name, where he had posted a variety of videos, some of which featured him hanging out with pals and others which made references to school shootings and gun violence.
