Savannah Police Officer, Reginald Brannan, dies in a car crash early Monday morning. He was 23 years old. When he was very young, he was killed while driving home after his shift. This accident happened after a collision happened in his personal car with a tractor sailor in Garden City, according to Savannah Police.
Brannan joined the Savannah police department in December 2020. He was very young in age and as he dies in a car crash, the entire police department is very saddened to hear this news, and policemen in the high post also talked about his demise and provide grief to his family members.
Chief of SPD, sends prayers to Brannan’s Family
Chief Lenny Gunther said, “ Reginald Brannan was a young officer just starting his career. We ask everyone to keep his family, friends, and SPD family in your thoughts and prayers as we mourn the loss of this member of our SPD family.”
Preliminary Investigation reveals that Brannan was operating a personal vehicle on Georgia 21 in Garden City when his vehicle came in contact with a tractor-trailer just after midnight.
Brannan was pronounced dead of injuries suffered in the wreck.
