Putri Ariani, a 17-year-old Indonesian singer, gained worldwide fame almost immediately after her America’s Got Talent (AGT) audition where she left Fans and Judges in TEARS over a show-stopping performance. Her name began to be known since participating in the 2014 Indonesia’s Got Talent competition and won the position of the winner.
Putri auditioned for America’s Got Talent (Season 18) during the second week. In her audition, she performed her original song titled “Loneliness” for her first performance. Afterward, Putri was approached by Simon Cowell and given the opportunity to sing “Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word” popularized by Elton John for her second performance. At the end of her performance, Putri received the Golden Buzzer from Simon, automatically advancing her to the next round of America’s Got Talent, Season 18.

When Putri was born, she was not fully developed and had to stay in a Special bed at the hospital for three months. This was because her mother had a condition called placenta previa.
After leaving the hospital, it was discovered that Putri had a problem with her eyes called cataracts. Her parents took her to Singapore for treatment, but the surgery on her right eye did not work. When Putri was three months old, it was determined that she was completely blind.

Putri Ariani was born on December 31, 2005, in Bangkinang, Indonesia. She is the oldest of three children in her family. Her parents are Ismawan Kurnianto and Reni Alfianty. Putri has two younger sisters named Devina Elysia and Vania Larissa.
Putri discovered her talent for singing when she was only two years old. She enjoyed imitating the sounds she heard and developed a passion for music.
Despite not taking formal vocal lessons, she taught herself and became skilled in singing. At the age of seven, she started performing on stage. However, Putri faced bullying because of her different appearance.

Putri Ariani’s musical Journey Explored
Putri began her career in the entertainment industry by participating in a talent search competition, Indonesia’s Got Talent, Season 2, which was aired on SCTV in 2014. In the Result Show, which was broadcast live from Balai Sarbini, Plaza Semanggi, Jakarta on July 19, 2014, Putri performed the song “My Heart Will Go On” by Céline Dion. She received the highest number of SMS votes and won the title. As the winner, she received a cash prize of 500 million Indonesian Rupiah.
In 2016, Putri received an award at the Anugerah Baiduri as an accomplished young singer at the national level. In the same year, she achieved second place at the national level of the FLS2N literacy competition and became a finalist on The Voice Kids Indonesia (Season 2). Putri is skilled in playing the piano and has composed several songs.
