Bell, 54, was involved in an accident and was hit by another rider at the Lazy River Motocross course close to Dalton, according to Murray County Deputy Coroner Jonathan Sosebee. Sosebee declared, “It was an inevitable accident.” He was on a jump when he crashed, according to what I heard. He was helpless since another rider was directly behind him and he couldn’t see him prevent it.
According to Sosebee, Bell was too badly hurt to be evacuated by helicopter and passed away at a Chatsworth hospital. The second rider, according to Sosebee, suffered just minor wounds and was soon after released from the hospital.
