Detective Inspector Kaz Smithson, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Mckyla’s death was an awful tragedy and I can only fathom the sorrow her loved ones are going through right now.
” I’d like to pass on my profound sympathies to the family and tell them we’re doing everything we possibly can to deliver them the justice they deserve. “We’re glad to have taken a critical step in our investigation by charging a suspect who has now been before the courts.”
