Paramedics picked up Max Solomon Lewis, 20, approximately 6 p.m. at a Green Line station in the 300 block of East 51st Street, according to police and the University of Chicago. He was wounded in the neck and taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition.

Lewis, a third-year University of Chicago student, died of his injuries on Sunday, according to police and university authorities.
