Luke Treadaway was born on September 10, 1984. He is 38 years old and is of English nationality. Treadaway was born in the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital in Exeter and raised in Sandford, Devon. He has two brothers: an older brother named Sam Treadaway who is an artist and curator and a slightly younger twin named actor Harry.

His father is an architect and his mother is a primary school teacher. His father played the Big Bad Wolf in the village’s annual production of Little Red Riding Hood, and he played the daffodil in that play. He played scrum half for the twice-defeated rugby union team at Queen Elizabeth’s Community College in Crediton, where Luke and Harry attended.

He and his twin brother recorded parts for their first feature film, Brothers of the Head, in which they played conjoined twins, while they were still enrolled in theater school. Luke portrayed the band’s singer Barry Howe, and Harry portrayed guitarist and composer Tom Howe.

Luke and Harry were attached to one another for fifteen hours a day throughout rehearsals and the whole shoot while donning wet suits that were sewn together or harnesses. To further emphasize the conjoined nature of their personas, they shared a bed while they slept.
