Prime Minister Boris Johnson has appointed Liz Truss as the country’s second female Foreign Minister.
As trade minister, he has been a prominent proponent of Britain’s economic and diplomatic realignment toward the Indo-Pacific region, driving efforts to join a trans-Pacific trading union for the past two years.
The 46-year-old has forged trade pacts with a number of nations, including Japan and Australia.
