His No. 10 jersey, along with those of Phil Ford, Michael Jordan, Antawn Jamison, Tyler Hansbrough, Jack Cobb, George Glamack, and James Worthy, is one of only eight retired by UNC.

He set a school record with 28.0 points per game in 1957, beating out Chamberlain for the Helms Foundation College Basketball Player of the Year title. That 1957 Tar Heels squad went 32-0, winning in triple overtime over Chamberlain’s Jayhawks. Rosenbluth led the title game with 20 points but fouled out late in regulation. He has been inducted into the International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame in Israel as well as the National Jewish Sports Hall of Fame and Museum.
