In the wake of their split, the couple, who have two children together, have pledged to remain close friends and continue to enjoy family vacations together.

‘After many lovely and eventful years, we have chosen to go our own ways,’ the split couple said in a statement to HuffPost UK.

‘We remain close friends and will continue to celebrate our grandchildren’s birthdays and other family holidays together.’

Bjorn and Lena’s divorce comes just months after he reunited with his ex-wife and bandmate Agnetha Fältskog, 71, for the first time in four decades to produce Voyage, ABBA’s first album in four decades.
