Police are looking for the boat driver who crashed another boat on the Magothy River on Monday evening and killed the woman, Laura Slattery inside.

Pasadena woman murdered in boat hit-and-run, according to cops

Following a collision with another boat on Sunday night that left a Pasadena woman fatally injured and a man hurt, a boater fled the Magothy River, according to Maryland Natural Resources Police. According to Lauren Moses, a representative for NRP, Laura Slattery, 63, of Pasadena passed away as a result of wounds she received in the 10 p.m. collision at the Magothy River entry between Cape St. Claire and Gibson Island.

The driver of the second involved boat fled the scene immediately following the collision and was last spotted off the coast of Cape St. Claire in the Deep Creek region. Police are still looking for him or her. On a Wellcraft boat that was struck by a white centre console boat that Moses assessed to be 25 feet long and being driven by an unidentified person, Slattery and an adult male suffered injuries.
