Kronii is a South Korean-Canadian VTuber who is associated with Hololive EN‘s second generation, HoloCouncil. She is considered the Warden of “Time,” the third idea the Gods created and the one most closely associated with human life. 

Talking about her Personality, Kronii is very confident, self-centered, and completely unafraid to praise herself. However, she also describes herself as someone who is generally not a happy person, to the point of listing “existential dread” as a hobby. Kronii was born in South Korea but later moved to Canada with her family. Although she is mostly South Korean, her maternal grandmother is Japanese. Kronii talks about her strict parents who would get upset if she got anything less than an A grade on her report cards, so she would hide them.

She has a dog named “Time Mutt.” In July 2022, Kronii adopted a kitten, but unfortunately, it passed away in December. This caused Kronii to take a break from streaming.

Kronii hasn’t told her mother that she is a VTuber (a virtual YouTuber), but she suspects her mother may have figured it out because of her loud screams during streams.

When Kronii was a child at summer camp, she had a biking accident and crashed into a tree, which caused her to temporarily forget her own name. Another time, she broke her bicycle while riding down a steep hill.

She tried to use the brakes when she saw a car coming, but she couldn’t balance herself with one hand, and she ended up with severe injuries when she landed.

On April 26, 2022, HoloLive’s Twitter announced that Kronii had contracted COVID-19 and had to take a break from streaming. However, she returned to streaming shortly after recovering.

In September 2022, Kronii had to get her wisdom teeth removed. During her recovery, she had to take painkillers. She took a break from streaming during this time but still streamed on Twitter spaces (a feature on Twitter for audio conversations).

Kronii was born with a jaw that is not symmetrical. In 2023, she had to undergo surgery to correct it.

Kronii started her career on August 23, 2021. In her first video, she mentioned that she enjoys activities like sleeping, taking naps, and putting things off. She also mentioned that she likes walking at night, feeling anxious about life, and swimming. On the other hand, she dislikes sleeping, taking naps, and procrastinating (even though she said she likes them). She also mentioned that she doesn’t like vegetables, working with time limits, or playing frustrating games. Kronii mentioned that her hobbies include playing video games, procrastinating, lying down, watching videos, and singing.

The day after her debut, Kronii played the games Twelve Minutes and Superhot during her live streams. She has also played other games like Frostpunk, Hollow Knight, Minecraft, Garctic Phone, Opus: Echo of Starsong, We Were Here Together, Stories Untold, DARQ, Devour, Hades, Dead by Daylight, Night Delivery, Inscription 2, Stray, Needy Streamer Overload, Sonic Adventure 2, Elden Ring, House Flipper, Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Propnight, Silt, Megaman X, Gorogoa, The Pathless, Ghostrunner, Hidden Through Time, GRIS, The Last Campfire, Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, Fire Emblem: Engage, and Sonic Frontiers. When playing games, Kronii can be quite mean, similar to Pekora’s gaming style. She often mistreats non-player characters (NPCs) in the games and does things that inconvenience others. She likes to show off her skills and brag about her accomplishments. Her tendency to think highly of herself is meant to be funny, like when she names a city “Kronii” in Frostpunk or gives her Minecraft cats names like Garfield, Cat, Easy, Cateronii, Catfield, and Easyfield.
