“I am ecstatic with that swim,” Stephens said. “It’s a personal best time for me. I’ve been working really hard in training, doing some good times. Just to do that race makes everything so worth it.”
Dedekind then added a bronze medal in the S13 100m backstrokes final to her collection from Rio, where she also finished third in the same event.
“That was probably the best race that I could have put forward this week,” Dedekind said.
