Rogge was named honorary president once Bach took over as president. He also served as the UN’s Special Envoy on Youth, Refugees, and Sport.
Sebastian Coe, the president of World Athletics and the former chairman of the London 2012 Olympic organizing committee, said on Twitter that he missed seeing Rogge and his wife during the recent Tokyo Olympics.
