22-year-old, Jacqueline Durand, assaulted by two dogs

University student Jacquline Durand, 22, was assaulted by two dogs while she walked them. As a result of the terrible injury to her face, she needed many surgeries to heal.

In December, Jacqueline Durand was mauled by two dogs a day before her 22nd birthday. Even though it has been many months since the incident, people can’t stop talking about what happened to her on Reddit.

The University of Texas at Dallas student was assaulted while walking their two dogs at the home of Dr. Justin Bishop and his wife, Ashley. When she opened the door, the animals, a German shepherd and a pit bull mix named Lucy and Bender sprang on her and held her down. 

Her clothing, including her blue jeans, was entirely ripped off by the dogs. Her ears, nose, lips, and the rest of the region behind her eyes were also ripped off and eaten by the dogs.

According to CBS News, the 22-year-old probably only survived the tragedy because the security system at the Bishops’ home activated when the front door was left open during the attack.

Later, the couple told the investigators that they had no problems with the dogs and that they had been adopted from rescue organizations.

Dr. Justin Bishop’s pets were apprehended and transported to Coppell for care. The judge also directed that both dogs be fed meat.

According to the lawsuit, it was due to the couple’s carelessness. Their house’s front entrance displays a “Crazy Dogs” which is an ominous sign. Please do not use the doorbell or knock. Instead, send an SMS or phone “.

According to Durand’s attorney Chip Brooker, the note implies that the Bishops were aware that both dogs had acted violently against people coming at the front door. 

Julia Cole, a Durand family friend, reached out to the family and was devastated to learn of Jacqueline’s situation. As a result, she established a gofundme page to assist with her medical expenditures and procedures.
