Following an accident in Butler County, a 15-year-old girl died; several others were injured.

Hallie Deaton, 15, was a passenger in a car that crashed in Wayne Township on State Route 73. The car is reported to be Ford Mustang.
Hallie was riding in a car with three other teenagers. According to investigators, the motorist veered left of center and collided with a pickup truck traveling the opposite way.
An adult and four children between the ages of 4 and 11 years old were in that second car. None of them were hurt.
But in the teenager’s car, all were hurt. Deaton died after being flown to Miami Valley Hospital.
Seven of the kids involved, including Deaton, were Edgewood City Schools students.
