The talented young musician, a Port-au-Prince native and the son of well-known vocalist Lionel Benjamin can play the piano, guitar, bass, and drums.
He was born Mika and later changed his name to Mikaben. At the age of 15, he wrote his first song, “Nwèl Tristès,” which placed fourth in the Telemax Christmas song contest, and made his public debut.
