Gleycy Correia, former Miss Brazil, died abruptly on June 20 after undergoing a tonsillectomy that resulted in significant bleeding and a catastrophic heart attack. Correia’s body was interred on June 21 after an autopsy at the Forensic Medicine Institute of Macae. Five days after the procedure, she had a hemorrhage at home. The 27-year-old model and influencer went into a coma after suffering a heart attack, which resulted in very little neurological activity. Pastor Jak Abreau, a different family acquaintance, indicated that Correia’s family believes she died as a result of medical errors throughout her entire course of therapy. Abreau added that Correia’s grin would now light up the skies as she prayed for the deceased’s soul. He also thanked everyone who has prayed for her safety.
