The New Shephard-18 will transport four astronauts beyond the Earth’s atmosphere and return them safely. Blue Origin has revealed the identities of two of the passengers, with the identities of the other two to be revealed later.
Dr. Chris Boshuizen, a former Nasa engineer and co-founder of Planet Labs, and Glen de Vries, Vice-Chair, Life Sciences & Healthcare, Dassault Systèmes and co-founder of Medidata, will board the Blue Origin spacecraft nearly three months after it launched its CEO Jeff Bezos on the first crewed voyage.
The launch is scheduled at 8.30 a.m. CDT, or 7 p.m. Indian Standard Time.

Dr. Chris Boshuizen started Planet Labs in 2010 and served as its Chief Technical Officer for five years, during which time the business became the first to use nanosatellites commercially.
