Eric Weinberg, a TV producer, was detained and is suspected of s*xually assaulting many women.

Hollywood producer Eric Weinberg was detained by the Los Angeles Police Department on Thursday on suspicion of seven years’ worth of s*xual assaults against women.

Weinberg, who is best known as the co-executive producer of the television series “Scrubs,” was arrested at his Los Feliz home at midday and was later charged with “multiple s*xual crimes, including r*pe,” according to police.

He was the target of crimes that took place between 2012 and 2019 and enticed multiple women to his Edgemont Street house under the pretense of photo shoots, according to police.

Weinberg “appears to have targeted women in grocery stores, coffee shops, and other public areas,” according to detectives in a recent press statement. Under the pretense of being a photographer, Weinberg would approach women in their 20s and 30s and arrange picture shoots with them. He would begin to s*xually assault the women as soon as they entered his home for the photo session.

Detectives are interested in speaking with any more, unnamed victims who may have been involved in the crime in the early 1990s.

Representatives for Weinberg could not be reached for comment. He was being held on $3.225-million bail. Weinberg worked as executive producer on 92 episodes of “Scrubs” from 2001 to 2007 and wrote some of them. He also served as a producer on “Veronica’s Closet,” “Californication” and “Anger Management.”

Investigators have not yet formally presented their investigation to the district attorney’s office for review, but that is expected in the next 48 hours.
