Jay’s body was discovered along the Pacific Palisades hiking trail of Will Rogers State Historic Park. The results of an autopsy conducted after the unfortunate tragedy are still being sought. Dr. Jay had been trekking in a park when firefighters and health rescuers were dispatched, and they discovered him dead on the scene.
