“When he arrived in Killarney in 1951, he was 70 years old, and I would say that, aside from his family and his (pharmacy) business, Dr. Crokes meant everything to him. He was a County Board delegate for 50 years and served as the club’s chairman for three terms,” said Keogh.
“I recall him as treasurer, a team trainer, and a huge supporter. He’s leaving a massive void in his wake.
