Allan began playing the DJ in 1982. His mixes and remixes were played on different shows on Piccadilly Radio in Manchester between 1984 and 1986, including those hosted by Timmy Mallet, Chris Evans, and Tim Grundy. From 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Sundays, he hosted “Oldskool Nation.” Since leaving Unity Radio, Allan has been a broadcaster for OSN Radio, where he hosts the Saturday-night show Oldskool Nation.
