Ryan, 26, was booked into the Maricopa County Jail in Arizona over the weekend on two counts of domestic violence and s*xual assault, according to county court documents. A probable cause statement reveals a lady contacted Mesa police on Friday to report an alleged offense. She informed officers Ryan had visited her two days previously.

During the visit, she alleged the pair watched television together and Ryan pressured her to have s*xual Act. She urged him “stop,” “this isn’t a good idea” and “I don’t want to do this” but he proceeded to abuse her, according to court filings. “The victim reported the defendant said he was sorry and started to cry. The victim walked into her bedroom and locked the door as the defendant slept on the couch,” court documents indicate. The next day, the victim recorded a chat with Ryan and he agreed that he “r*ped” her, according to court filings.

A nurse did a s*xual assault assessment on the victim and clothing was examined for DNA. Police detained Ryan on Saturday evening and during an interrogation, court filings suggest he “made verbal admissions” to s*xually assaulting the woman “even after the victim urged him to stop many times.” Ryan is being jailed on $10,000 bail. He is set to appear in court this week.

Lori Vallow Daybell, Ryan’s mother, and her husband Chad Daybell are charged in Idaho with multiple charges of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder for the deaths of Ryan’s siblings – 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 16-year-old Tylee Ryan – and Chad’s first wife, Tammy Daybell.
