Ward has also appeared on the second series of RuPaul’s Drag Race in the UK and went on to front the BBC documentary Gypsy Queen and Proud.

RuPaul described him as a “bright star and a lovely person” who would “always be in [their] hearts”, and Michelle Visage said Ward was “one of a kind with a laugh as big as his hearts.
