Hartford Whalers
Neumeier’s first employment in broadcasting was with WTIC in Hartford, Connecticut, where he worked with Bill Rasmussen and Larry Pleau to call play-by-play for the Hartford Whalers, including the memorable “Brawl at the Mall” in April 1975 during a playoff series with the Minnesota Fighting Saints.
