In 1956, Bernard Cribbins made his debut in a West End production of A Comedy of Errors at the Arts Theatre. He also co-starred in the inaugural West End performances of Not Now Darling, There Goes the Bride, and Run for Your Wife. Additionally, he performed in the revue And Another Thing, and “Folksong,” a song from the production, was released as a single. Cribbins released three comedic song recordings in 1962, and all three made it onto the UK Singles Chart.
