The couple’s latest project, Antique Woodland, had a “wood” motif, inspired by their visit to an archery range at a hotel they stayed in back in 2014, when Nick gave Rachel a bow. They spent the evening watching Halloween Wars together.

Nick was born in Boston on December 27 and holds a significant achievement, having been granted the Federal Aviation Administration in July 2022.
His academic pursuits began in 2012 when he graduated from Massasoit Community College with a degree in Communication and Media Studies. Seeking further knowledge and expertise, Nick enrolled at the New England Institute of Technology in 2013 and successfully obtained a degree in information technology.

Nick’s professional career kicked off in September 2012 when he joined Geek Squad as a Counter Intelligence Agent. At Geek Squad, he was responsible for various tasks, including data backups, system upgrades, virus and malware removal, as well as providing customer coaching on the latest technology. Nick dedicated two years to this role before deciding to pursue other opportunities.

In February 2016, Nick transitioned to a junior systems administrator position at Radius Bank. During his tenure of five months, he diligently updated software and patched systems to ensure the resolution of security flaws in the domain environment. Following this role, he served as a helpdesk technician for the same organization for an entire year.
In June 2016, Nick took on the position of a systems administrator for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. In this capacity, he assumed responsibility for the control and safeguarding of Windows and Third Party Patch systems. He remained with the organization for three years before concluding his tenure in May 2019.
2019 – 2022
Post his departure from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Nick accepted a position in IT Management at ASICS Digital, formerly known as Runkeeper. From May 2019 to November 2021, he dedicated his full-time employment to this organization. After two years and seven months of service, he decided to explore new endeavors and seek self-employment.
In November 2021, Nick realized his vision by establishing Homestead Photos, a real estate photography company that specializes in film photography. As the owner and founder, he has devoted the past 12 months to building and growing the company.
Additionally, Nick maintains a part-time position as a Creative Specialist at Flylisted since July 2022. In this role, he engages in various tasks such as 3D scanning, aerial drone operations, photography, videography, and still photography. He has been with Flylisted for the past eight months while simultaneously managing Homestead Photos.
In addition to his entrepreneurial and employment endeavors, Nick shares and sells his remarkable photographs through an online blog called Nick Maksy Gallery. The blog serves as a platform for showcasing his incredible work to a wider audience.

In 2021, the couple made a significant purchase by acquiring a charming Historic Farmhouse, which they now call home. Eager to share their new abode, Rache uploaded a video tour of the house on her YouTube channel. A fascinating detail about the house is its original beam, hinting at its past as a genuine farmer’s porch.
The farmhouse consists of two distinct sections. The first is the historic portion, dating back to 1850, which includes a delightful breakfast nook. Interestingly, the breakfast nook is the oldest part of the entire house.
Another intriguing feature of their home is a small, ancient bread oven. On July 16, 2022, she shared an exciting video showcasing the kitchen’s makeover, as they plan to refurbish it entirely.

Thanks to the expansive backyard, the couple and their family enjoy a great deal of privacy. In the past, the yard was utilized for farming activities. A portion of their property, one acre in size, extends behind the farmhouse, while the entire estate spans an impressive 4 acres.
The couple has entertained the idea of creating mountain riding paths within their property. In one of their posts, they proudly showcase a golden fish they have acquired. Moreover, they have a charming patio area at the rear of the house, where they can unwind and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee.
