Jaz Elle Agassi, daughter of legendary tennis players Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf, pursued interests in horse riding, golf, dancing, skiing, and fitness growing up. She found some success in hip-hop dance competitions in her youth.
Jaz Elle has a 5-year-old dog named Blue, who she calls her best Valentine. Her parents were both World No. 1 ranked professional tennis players in their careers, with her father Andre winning many medals and her mother Steffi holding the top ranking for 377 weeks.
Jaz Elle Agassi’s Early Life
Jaz Elle Agassi was born on October 3, 2003, in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States at the Valley Hospital Medical Center. She entered a family of tennis legends, as the daughter of Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf. Her father, Andre, was himself born to Emmanuel and Elizabeth Agassi. Her mother Steffi Graf is originally from Germany, born to Peter and Heidi Graf.
Jaz Elle has an older brother, Jaden Gil Agassi, born on October 26, 2001. Jaden adores his younger sister Jaz, and the two siblings enjoy spending time together.
Jaz’s parent Andre Agassi was a former world number one who won eight Grand Slam singles titles during his illustrious career. Steffi Graf held the top WTA ranking for a record 377 weeks and won 22 Major singles championships.

Jaz’s Parents Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf relationship
Tennis legends Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf first met at a competition in 1990. Graf’s intensive tennis training under her strict father Peter did not allow for many deep friendships early on. But things changed after her father’s 1995 tax evasion jail sentence freed Graf to finally pursue social bonds.
By 1997, Agassi had married actress Brooke Shields, though they divorced just two years later. Graf had been dating German racecar driver Michael Bartels going back to their 1992 Wimbledon dance celebration that was broken up by authorities. However, Graf moved on from that relationship as well. After both their splits, Agassi and Graf found their way back to each other. They began dating in 1999 soon after Agassi’s divorce was finalized.
Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf were married on October 22, 2001, with only their mothers as guests. In 2001, Graf gave birth to their son Jaden Gil, named after Agassi’s trainer Gil Reyes. Daughter Jaz Elle joined the family two years later on October 3, 2003.
Parents thought about Jaz’s career and had No Pressure to Pursue Tennis
In an interview, Graf admitted they “never really introduced tennis so much into their lives.” Though Graf was world #1 for nearly 7 years and Agassi won 8 Grand Slam titles, they allowed son Jaden and daughter Jaz Elle to explore other passions. Jaden tried sports like soccer before settling on baseball, while Jaz Elle dabbled in dance and fashion.
According to Graf, the hands-off approach was intentional to let the kids choose their directions.
