On those charges, it was the underage boy who phoned the Santa Barbara police department. On Friday, the principal of San Marcos High School in Santa Barbara sent an email to students, parents, and staff members informing them that a teacher had been detained for crimes against a minor.
According to the message, Santa Barbara police informed the school that one of its staff had been detained on allegations of online solicitation of a minor.
This investigation is still underway.
