Brandon discovered that his buddies were not the only ones receiving such treatment after visiting NOC’s Glassdoor page and that the alleged difficulties had been going on for years.

And the intrigue thickens. Wendy Cheng, alias Xia Xue, a Singaporean drama enthusiast, jumped into the mix with her own conjecture about the anonymous character at the center of a messy influencer feud, and the TikToker she blamed confessed: it was him.
TikToker Baerendang revealed Friday in a post that he wrote the original posts making a range of claims against one of the founders of a prominent YouTube channel, putting an end to weeks of speculation about the identity of the Sgcickenrice account.
“I felt a moral obligation to speak up and shed light on these issues that have plagued employees and so I did,” he said in an Instagram response. “The goal was simple- to demand fair wages, timely payment, and equitable treatment. There were no ‘camps’, but only employees to support.”
Brandon claims to be 20 years old but does not reveal his entire identity. Despite the fact that Night Owl lists Brandon Gwee as a producer, Brandon has denied working for the company.
Brandon stated he was not sorry for speaking out for the staff in his mea culpa.

To shorten a long story short, I apologize for my naiveté and admittedly foolish behavior,” he stated. “All comments and pitchforks are welcome, but all I ask is that the staff be spared.”
Things grew messy, he added, and he started to feel like a “pawn.” He also denied “hacking” Chan’s accounts, claiming that he just shared material that had already been made public.
Cheng outed him on TikTok, and he confessed hours afterward.
Cheng shared screenshots of a now-deleted TikTok video by Sgcickenrice that included the same photo as Brandon’s TikTok profile. She claimed it was in a post that was quickly replaced by a version that cropped it out.
She claimed to have met him at a shoot with the Night Owl team, with whom he was well acquainted.
As of publishing time, Brandon had not responded to messages made to his TikTok account on Friday.

Cheng went on to say that he had “mocked” Chan in multiple videos on his personal account, but that he had erased them around the same time Sgcickenrice deleted all of their posts on Wednesday.
