As per police, the 49-year-untimely old’s death on Thursday at his house is “not suspicious.”  Rugby league legend Paul Green sadly took his life on Thursday in his family’s garage, leaving behind his broken-hearted wife and two young kids, Jed and Emerson.  The footy world is in shock and sadness over the passing of the former halfback, who won the Rothmans Medal in 1995, one of the sport’s top individual honors.

It is a sad day for those affiliated with the rugby league family and the rugby league community.”  Just after 10 a.m. on Thursday, Queensland Police were called to Green’s family home in Wynnum, in Brisbane’s east, when he was discovered unconscious in his garage.  A short while later, paramedics arrived on the scene and pronounced Green dead, a police spokesman confirmed to Daily Mail Australia.  

She has also affirmed, “There are no suspicious circumstances,” and a post-mortem was performed to know the precise cause of death.
