Alagiah discusses living with the disease with Craig Oliver, a former Downing Street director of communications. “I’m not sure I’ll be able to get rid of this thing.” I’m still dealing with cancer. “It’s expanding very slowly,” he stated in an interview for Desperately Seeking Wisdom, Oliver’s podcast.
The presenter stated that he would never wish for cancer, but he would not trade the years he had lived with it for anything because he had learned so much. He went on to say that his cancer diagnosis had helped him figure out what was important in his life.
